Ross Bendixen

Ross Bendixen grew up along the shores of Lake Sammamish, where the surrounding trees, forests, mountains, and water shaped his lifelong appreciation for the natural world. In 1970, while working at the Lake Washington Yacht Basin, he learned to weld and began creating metal interpretations of the beauty he saw around him.

For decades, Ross crafted steel and bronze sculptures in his Main Street Bellevue studio, gradually expanding his work into large wall installations, free-standing pieces, and fountains. His art has been warmly received by customers and interior designers for more than fifty years.

Today, Ross lives in Anacortes, Washington, where he continues to create striking works that reflect the iconic landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
